Float lines with Process Control System from STG

More than 80 production lines for flat glass are now equipped with an advanced Process Control System from STG.
Of these, more than 20 systems including Batch House control, more than 10x with Tin Bath / Top Rollers Control and more than 10x including an Energy Management System have been supplied.
In a combination with STG Oxygen Sensors and a Calorific Value measurement, the patented “Energy Based Lambda Control” is included as standard.

furnaces working with STG Oxygen sensors

More than 400 furnaces trust in the original and are already using STG oxygen sensors.
In total over 1500 sensors are used in the "hot" operation.
A large proportion of customers in Europe rely on a rental or maintenance contract.
"Advanced signal processing" with additional display of CO, false air and the Lambda process value is common practice.
The patented Lambda Control sets new standards for sensor based optimisation of the melting process.
